Saturday August 3 Late Night Grooves welcomes back Kranzberg Arts Foundation resident Brady Lewis! Chrissy Renick Music will be back to Late Night Grooves soon but won't be able to officially join us on this set.
Late Night Grooves is a weekly music series developed by pianist and composer Maurice Mo Egeston in the early days of The Dark Room and continued as a part of his inaugural class residency with Kranzberg Arts Foundation. The nights that Mo hosts will feature musicians who are influenced by jazz but also embrace a groove based approach to composition and arranging. Artists that blend styles such as nujazz, hiphop, soul, drum and bass, electronica, funk, Latin, house and more.
Weekly featured artists include vocalists and instrumentalists from the #STL soul, jazz and #groove scene with an emphasis on musicians from the Foundation's Music Artist in Residence program.
