I'm very excited to return to the stage for one night only for Open Air! I'll be joined by Eric Snoopy Tyler, Duane Williams & Andrew Gibson for a special set of Mo E All-Stars setlist favorites. And I may have a special guest or two! This is a limited ticket, reserved seating and socially distanced event held under a tent on the parking lot of The Dark Room. Tickets are available through MetroTix. (see link above) In addition to the $10 ticket, there’s a $30 food & beverage minimum per guest. After purchasing your ticket you’ll be sent an online order form where you will be able to pre-order your food and drinks. All food must be ordered in advance. Additional beverages will be available for purchase day of the event.

To ensure guest and staff safety, limited, physically-distant seating is available by reservation only for 5:30 pm or 8 pm. To maintain appropriate physical distance, parties are limited to 6 guests per table. All guests are required to follow COVID-19 mitigation policies including wearing face masks at all times except when seated at their reserved tables. Saturday May 2 Mo Egeston welcomes back Kranzberg Arts Foundation Music Resident Katarra Parson to Late Night Grooves!

Late Night Grooves is a music series that was developed by pianist and composer Maurice Mo Egeston in the early days of The Dark Room and continued as a part of his inaugural class residency with Kranzberg Arts Foundation. Mo continues to host most first and last Saturdays which will feature musicians who are influenced by jazz but also embrace a groove based approach to composition and arranging. Artists will blend styles such as nujazz, hiphop, soul, drum and bass, electronica, funk, Latin, house and more.

Featured artists will include vocalists and instrumentalists from the #STL soul, jazz and #groove scene with an emphasis on musicians from the Foundation's Music Artist in Residence program.

Saturday April 25 Mo E All-Stars return for their monthly set as a part of Mo Egeston's Late Night Grooves series at The Dark Room.

The band will play 2 sets of originals and re-imagined grooves, including tracks from their debut release Groove Suites Vol. 1, and some of their recent singles. Their latest- Popcorn Blue is available where you get music.

The sound? Flavors of soul, groove jazz, Latin and funk blended with the organic dance rhythms of drum & bass, house and downtempo. 10P. No Cover. (times subject to change due to theater performances in The Grandel)
