UGP appears at least once a month at Lola in the Downtown St. Louis Loft district. UG Project is essentially a live mash up of deep house, soul, Latin and jazz. Strong emphasis is placed on mixing spontaneous improvisations with sequences that are manipulated live. Add horns, soulful vocals, jazz influenced keyboard voicings and live percussion and you have Urban Groov Project. Featuring DJ Nune- beats, horns, vocals and keys. Duane "Jingo" Williams- percussion. Mo E- keys and beats. C Jay Conrod- vocals.
