New Music out today! Chrissy Renick & Mo E3 3/16; Video Shoot.


Hard to believe it. but over a year has passed since the release of Mo E All-Stars Groove Suites Vol. 1.  Well today I'm excited to share that we've release a brand new one along side my fellow Kranzberg Arts Foundation residents on the Sound of St. Louis: Jazz Compilation Vol. 1 .  You can hear my original tune Sun Spots (Mo E All-Stars) along with great work from Owen Ragland (Mo Egeston Piano Studio represent!), Tonina, Bob Deboo, Anita Jackson, Kasimu Taylor, Ptah Williams, Ben Reece and Jesse Gannon.

This  Saturday 3/16 Chrissy Renick returns along side Mo E3 which is the core lineup of the Mo Egeston trio featuring Grover Stewart on drums and Eric Tyler on bass.  Join us for a night that blends the improv aesthetic of jazz with elements of soul, funk, hip-hop, Latin and electronic music.  10P No cover. Late Night Grooves Saturday 3/16:  Mo E Trio & Chrissy Renick . Chrissy is an amazing vocal artist and writer and is in the midst of releasing some exciting new music.

Pianist Maurice Mo Egeston 's weekly Late Night #Grooves Series features a range of guest artists in trio and quartet settings Saturdays at Dark Room at The Grandel. Each night features 2 sets of music that blends the improvisational aesthetic of jazz with the groove elements of soul, funk, r & b, house, drum & bass, Latin and more. Featured artists will blend their original music and set list favorites with originals and reworks by Mo, and are supported frequently by members of Mo E All-Stars/ Mo E Trio
