Mo E's Music Updates- March 22

Greetings, here's what's happening this week in my musical world.

This Friday March 23 I'll be performing at the Delmar Lounge with the trio version of Mo E All-Stars.  I'm joined by Grover Stewart Jr. on drums (& vocals) and Duane "Jingo" Williams (@jingoloba) on percussion.  We usually are on the 3rd Saturday but we moved the date due to South By Southwest.

The All-Stars sound features the traditional elements of DJ driven dance music as interpreted by a live ensemble. We play original Mo E material and arrangements of artists such as Bugz in the Attic, Herbie Hancock, Wookie, Santana, Stevie Wonder, Moloko, Jazzanova and Fertile Ground. Basically stuff that we love to play.  Showtime is 9 PM.  Join us won't you?

Brothers Lazaroff just returned from another great trip to Austin for South By Southwest.  We had the opportunity to perform material from the new album Science Won which will be released in April.   And we also did some really cool shows with Elizabeth McQueen.  Elizabeth is a singer and songwriter who is best known for her work with Asleep at the Wheel.

The new collaboration Elizabeth McQueen meet Brothers Lazaroff allowed us to rework some of her orginal material and featured her on some Brothers material as well.  You can check out our studio work here:

Many more good things to come from the Brothers Lazaroff extended family this year.  Stay tuned for future announcements.
